Who it is for: For companies whose HR admin gets squeezed in around other work and keeps piling up, and who want a reliable partner to take it on.

Outcome

What changes for you.

The recurring HR work that is easy to get wrong sits with a specialist, and your team gets that time back for the business. Contracts, reference letters and filings are done correctly and on schedule, and your data stays in order and protected under the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP), the Swiss data protection law, which follows the GDPR closely in what it requires. You keep full oversight of your team in Switzerland without carrying an HR role on your own payroll.

On a subscription: CHF 250 per month base fee plus CHF 25 to 55 per employee, depending on complexity. We agree the level with you openly before we start. One-off assignments without a subscription: CHF 140 per hour. Take payroll as well and you receive a 7.5% bundle discount. Prices are published and we are usually ready to start within a few days.

Frequently asked questions

HR administration in brief.

What does HR administration cost?

CHF 250 per month as a base fee plus CHF 25 to 55 per employee per month, depending on the complexity of your organisation. One-off assignments without a subscription cost CHF 140 per hour. Take payroll as well and you receive a 7.5% bundle discount. We agree the complexity level before we start, and these standard rates are published on this site.

How does Swiss employment law compare with what we know at home?

Swiss employment contracts tend to be short, and much of what governs the relationship sits outside them. Notice periods and probation come from the Swiss Code of Obligations, the federal statute covering employment. A collective labour agreement (Gesamtarbeitsvertrag, or GAV) sets minimum terms where one applies to your industry. Annual leave follows the Code of Obligations, and public holidays follow cantonal rules. Every employee also has to be registered with an AHV compensation office, the body that collects contributions to the Swiss state pension and social insurance system. We draft contracts that meet these requirements and keep every employee's file complete.

Who makes the decisions about people?

You do. Hiring, salaries and departures stay with your management. You make the call and tell us. We prepare the documents, handle the administration and record each step, so your head office abroad can see what happened and when. We report and correspond in English as a matter of course.

We have no HR person in Switzerland. Does that work?

Yes. Many of our clients run a Swiss entity with a handful of employees and no local HR function. We become the point of contact for your team, answer their questions in English or German and deal with the authorities and insurers on your behalf. Getting started usually takes a few days: we take on your employee records, check that they are complete and agree who reports what.
